My infatuation with Japan began when I discovered Sailor Moon in first grade. Ah, those were the days. Japanese is a beautiful language. Beyond that, I don't have a "good" reason for learning it - I just want to!
I am a big fan of anime and a bigger fan of manga. I love all sorts of Japanese fashion - especially traditional wear and loli/gothloli. I'm into cosplay; I actually won a judges' choice award for an Aerith costume at a con. I love all sorts of Japanese food, especially the candy! Well, actually, I like candy from anywhere. One of my current obsessions is the "Vocaloid" computer program series and I spend way too much time looking up and downloading songs in the character's voices.
